Goldeneye is a UC Berkeley student-run multidisciplinary club that undertakes engineering research and development projects. Our goal is to introduce aspiring students into engineering fields and to provide insight into different possible career paths to better prepare students for life after an undergraduate degree. We believe that discovering one's passion and excelling at it is one of the most important factors in forging a happy, productive life, and that there are few better ways to foster this than through personal experience.

Formed during the fall semester of 2016, Goldeneye's first project was a supersonic business jet design that took home Honorable Mention at NASA's 2016-17 University Aeronautics Design Challenge. After this maiden success, the club has expanded its horizons and undertaken an autonomous vehicle project. Under the guidance of Professor Francesco Borrelli, director of UC Berkeley's Model Predictive Control (MPC) Laboratory, and funded by Aptiv PLC, Goldeneye is making strides in lane keeping, obstacle avoidance, and target interception technology.
